Bill Floyd is a Country Music singer/entertainer/song writer and has appeared all over the U.S with virtually every major country artist of three decades: the 60's, the 70's, and the 80's.
During this time period, home base was Tampa, Florida, where he and the Countrymen (and then Sunshine Country) were unquestionably the finest Country Music band in the state of Florida. When Bill had show dates out of town or was recording in Nashville, Tennessee, the band would stay behind and carry on the show for Country Music lovers from all around the state.Bill hosted the Bill Floyd syndicated T.V. show from 1969-1971 with many special guest appearances by the top names in Country Music. Bill was also a well-known Country Music DJ in Tampa from 1964-1972.Bill Floyd recorded in Nashville for more than ten years and released 17 single (45's) records and 4 (L/P's) albums.
